Ban on tinted windows would end in Michigan if Snyder signs new bill

What vehicles have 1 million lumen headlights?

Pretty much anything non-halogen that uses a projector lens. It's even worse when the roads are wet. Don't get me wrong, those types of headlights are great if you're the one behind the wheel, but being on the receiving end stinks.

Anyone ever get stuck behind an ambulance or fire truck at a red light? Those LED brake lights will make you blind, even on a bright sunny day.

My 14 Sierra had a bulletin for the headlights. If you complained about the lights they changed the bulbs and reflashed the bcm to up the voltage. Those where brighter than my 17 denali

As of tonight Snider is signing and vetoing bills like crazy. Haven't seen any action on HB5634 yet. These guys do more "work" during the lame duck then they do for their entire term.

Still says expected in house journal 85 and its not highlighted. If there was a decision it should be a link on the site

I'd like to see it signed into law. The official web site says it was "presented to the governor". The newspaper article says it was among the bills vetoed. Can only hope.

"Repealing a ban on window tints in vehicles. The bill, which would have allowed more window tinting on vehicles,
“would have increased the potential risk of harm to law enforcement personnel, particularly when approaching a
vehicle during traffic enforcement stops,” Snyder said."

Funny how most southern states don't seem
to have a problem with this.

Not that it matters a whole lot, my Ford Fusion
had dark tint (all but windshield) and I never had
an issue with it, as well as any other dark tint
vehicle.

I do understand others have however.

LEO safety has always been a bullshit argument. When approaching a stopped vehicle, if the window isn’t down by the time you get out of the car (tint or not) aren’t you already suspect of the drivers intentions?

Additionally, what stops someone from hiding in the back of an suv with 5% on the rears (and nothing on the front 2), pulling out a 12 gauge and opening fire?

Snyder’s not going out on a good note in my book.
