My GF was heading East on 59 coming from 23 when she saw a maroon vette heading at she estimates about 120 MPH (Just her estimated guess based on how fast it was passing other cars and the Speed Limit is 55). Anyway. He goes flying by everyone and right into the side of a van that pulled out in front of it. Anyone hear anything about this? It was heading the opposite direction of her and she saw it in her rear view mirror. All she saw was the car, then smoke and pieces flying everywhere. She called 911, but had to keep going as she needed to get work. I don't trust her judgement on the type of car as she knows very little if anything about cars, but I would hope she can figure out what a vette looks like.

Didn't hear about that........what time did it happen??

Side note......there was a bad accident on M-59 just east of Airport Saturday morning (around 11ish). It involved a motorcyle and car. Looked terrible. Anyone hear what happened or if everyone is OK?

My dad was telling me about it, was a guy from the Waterford HOG group, guy was demoing a bike.
 
If the Vette was heading west going that fast toward the 23/59 intersection, the driver must of had a death wish.
 
it was about 8 PM. Yea Jack, dumb doesn't describe just the fact that he was doing that speed on M59 in traffic.
