backspacing on 10 in rims

im thinking about buying some 15 x 10inch welds for my mustang what does the backspacing have to be so they fit nice and dont stick out ive heard 5.5 and 6 also what size mickey thompson radials would equal 28x10.5 thanks

6.5in and you need to beat the inside of the wheelwells and roll the wheel lip. i dont know about the radial size

275/60's for the radial size.

Yeh. 275 mm = 10.8" and 60 aspect ratio means 0.6 * 275 mm = 165 mm = 6.5" so that's your sidewall height. Double that and add the rim diameter and you get 28". That's how those things are deciphered.
