There is a blm protest starting up right now. Cops and swat arrived and more people are showing up screaming and protesting. Who knows if it will be peaceful or turn into Dallas. Supposedly police have multiple roof top snipers in position scouting and ready to go. I'd avoid the area unless you like that type of stuff.
 
A girl I know did not avoid Campus Martin's...

She was beat up, robbed, pistol whipped unconscious and drug into the street and left there, all while people chanted black lives matter....


That actually happened.

What did she do to deserve that? That's terrible. I hope she was able to file a report and is going to be OK. Yes details.
 
I guess she is ok now, she posted on Facebook, friend of a friend screenshot it. She is kinda hippy artist. I guess it was a random mugging in the area, they got out of hand.

 
Also I guess she wasn't in the big mass of people, but near there. I guess the guy was with a few people, I don't people getting the idea this was a huge mob, it sounded slightly more isolated but near by.
 
Thanks for the update. Hate to say she seems a victim of opportunity. She has a great attititude and thank god it wasn't worse. She's right, why the extra violence. By today's standards the beating afterward could be considered a hate crime. Hate of white people, hate of women, hate of hipsters, whatever, but one last parting shot to send a message. Terrible. I'd like to think the power of her positive attitude will make a difference. Tell her I think she's right.
 
I heard there is a "day rage" planned this Friday all around the country and Detroit is on the list.
