automatic transmission problem

I have a 1995 Chevrolet S10 SS. The truck has just under 147,000 miles on it. When driving at about 50 mph I would get a slight jerk occasionally that just does not seem right. At the times I would a momentary vibration. I have owned the truck for eight years and these are more recent issues. The transmission does have a leak. It leaves a small puddle over night. When I checked the fluid level the other day it was high. The transmission has not been serviced in awhile. Any ideas? Is there someone in the area that can take a look at it that will not cost me an arm and a leg? Thanks.

That could mean bad news.....My uncle has an S10, maybe a 2000 something, and he was recently experencing jerking like that....Well that was a lead in to a total trans failure....He said after a while it just locked up, and he needed it rebuilt....I hope there is another explanation for why yours is doing this, just FYI though.
