Anyone here an agent of have advice for some cheap insurance?

Trying to get plpd coverage on my winter beaters, don't currently have insurance so I'm getting hit for that. Just seems crazy to pay over $200 a month for plpd.

unfortunately with you not having any current insurance your going to get a huge ding on the price because of that. i still have a couple carriers who i can write it through. give me a call and i'd be more than happy to get the information i need from you and we can get the process started

my office number is 616-784-7200 and ill be in tomorrow and friday from 830-5

thanks!

How does this "no previous" insurance penalty work?
What if you simply didn't need or drive a car for 6 months
or a year? Then you decided to insure a car you had in storage
& put it on the road.

I can think of a lot of reasons a person would not insurance
for a time, then decide to get it.

^2. This is the problem I have. I have a company car. I literally live in walking distance to work. I had 3 cars for myself and was sick of all the insurance. So I dropped it all and parked the cars. I called to have plpd put on one of them and they want 200 a month for a car I paid $10 for and don't drive but 10 miles a week. So if you can help with that I'm interested also.

Sean, thank you I will give you a call tomorrow

Yeah I made a trade awhile back and didn't need a car at the time so I dropped the insurance and left the car in the garage since it was a waste. Wish I never would've done that now though

if you have had a car in storage (with storage insurance) you still technically have a policy in force. however if you didnt insure it at the time we are somewhat SOL. there are a few ways around it but that really depends on the circumstance

Or have a company car

having a company car is no issue. as long as you have proof you are listed as a driver on that policy. i typically have no issues with this but it really depends on the company that comes up with the best price. but its usually not an issue to bypass this.

Glad to hear he could help! I saved a significant amount of money when I moved all my stuff over to him.
