I'm looking at picking something up for work around the house. I'm not sure what is better. I see pros and cons of both. For example, the side by side can fit two people so jobs with moving around a lot one person doesn't walk and it has an on board bed that stores more stuff than an ATV rack. However, its a small ass bed that doesn't fit a whole lot more than a chainsaw and can of gas and they cost more than an ATV. On the other hand an ATV is smaller (great in woods) and it does have front and rear racks. The racks don't hold much but I do have the option to get a small utility trailer to tow behind. An ATV is only for one person though. Can get a used one for easily half a side by side though.
What do you guys think? This will be a used purchase and it will be for house use only. Any good/bad luck with certain brands and models? I heard the Polaris side by side is a bad bitch. Only ATV experience I've had is a Honda Recon. It seemed nice but that could be because I didn't have anything to base it off of.
