Vintage Atlas 10F Bench top lathe
Vintage Model 10F Atlas lathe (1941-1947ish) in great working condition. Babbitt bearing headstock in very good condition, carriage in very good condition, manual carriage feed handle needs re-bushing to be excellent. Cross feed lead screw has some slop. Gears, carriage, countershaft etc all in very good working condition. Bed shows wear, the upside of flat bed lathes like this is that the beds are easy to deck flat. This isn't a blown out turd pile, and priced accordingly. $1100 obo
What's included
- Small selection of change gears,
-3 jaw chuck (pictured) and 4 jaw chuck.
-Face plate
-Standard tool post included (not pictured)
-5 piece Aloris/Phase II quick change tool post pictured
-Newer 1/2 HP Century electric motor (reversible)in excellent condition. Tool cabinet pictured included, its an HD Dayton cabinet with 1/4" top with HD 4" casters.
- Spare Timken bearing headstock with back gear
-Misc lead screw and parts,
New lathe on its way, this is the only reason I'm selling.
Price options - without cabinet, take off $100. Without roller bearing head stock take off $100.
Pic is of the lathe as I was fitting it to the cabinet, hence the backwards tailstock etc..
