Hey Guys,
I bought an AODE Trans package off a member here that bought it to put in his car. He sold the car so never got to use this package. It seems like a nice set up but was told it was behind a 700hp turbo car but my installer stated the converter looks like a stock piece so no way it was behind that much power without anti ballooning plates. Would push the crank shaft out.
We are now questioning the solenoid in the valve body for the lock-up feature the converter supposedly has? I'm looking to see if anyone knows someone or a shop that I might be able to take the trans set up to and verify what I really have before I put it in the car and have to drop it to make repairs or it might work fine but looking for a little reinsurance if possible.
