Anyone work for a Ford dealer on the east side? (Need service)

I decide to buy a ford product as I liked it but I'm hoping I don't regret it.

I need a dealer to check out my 2008 MKZ, I'm having trans issues. It threw a code last night and I still need to read it so I'm not sure exactly what the issue is yet.

Ive never had a major problem with a car so young... 2008 with 85K highway miles on it.

Let me know if anyone is on the east side - I know Matt is on the westside.

There also seems to be a TSB for a trans update that I'd like to get done aswell.

Does this car not have a standard OBDII port? Is it the new CAN interface? My el chepo code reader wont connect....issed:

06 and newer cars don't use the old standard communication protocol. Need a new tool to talk to it. different CAN communication ...at least GM cars are this way

Call Huntington Ford in Rochester, Service Advisor Greg Singh. Make an appointment and tell them you want Dave Passmander to diagnose/repair trans issue.

Maybe iss, tss, oss sensor issue? Hard to say. Didn't see a whole lot of issues with the aisin. Possible valve body/ main control?
