Anyone work as a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep technician? BCM Reprogram Question

I have a 2008 Grand Cherokee (WK). It's totally base other than floor mats and a 4.7L.

I am installing factory fogs, and am considering picking up the appropriate multifunction switch (turn signal). In order to utilize the factory wiring, I would need to have the BCM reprogrammed to reflect it being equipped with fogs.

It's allegedly a 5 min job at most - wanted to see if any members would be able to assist, and how much it'd cost to do so.

If it costs too much, or is too much of a PITA, I'll just wire them up independently. Seems like all factory wiring/fuses/relays are in place in 2008, so it'd just make sense to leverage that if the cost/effort is low.

Thanks!

sounds like you need a friend at a dealer, lol.....hopefully you can find a dealer to hook you up, like a 1/2 hour labor or something

Looks easy enough. I've read that if you set it to "Export" as well, you can have high beams with fogs.

Anyone know where I can access a StarScan for an hour or so? ;)

Hmm. Might be able to help. Not sure many even use the star scan anymore. Buddy has one I should be able to get though.

Ive got a 05 Grand Cherokee that also needs the fog lights activated, dealers around here are $60-$100 to do it.
