Hey guys I don't even know any more local forums since the ones I used to visit have no posts in forever
I have been out of car show scene for several years.

I would like to get my paint job back to presentable shape. It needs the front bumper and passenger side skirt stripped and repainted. There is no damage to the bumper just spider cracks and chipped paint....the color is one of a kind mix tri coat with pearl and metallic that needs to be matched...no paint code
Does anyone know anyone local that can match it and paint it but not charge an arm and leg for it?

Any paint shop will be able to color match it for you. However you will never get a perfect match without blending into all adjacent panels and that will add up $ wise.

Sorry but no one is going to want to put their name on this kind of job, maybe if it was two stage but a tricoat you will likely be turned away unless you want to do the whole car. Not trying to be debbie downer just preparing you, unfortunately repairability is something that you sacrifice with custom paint unless the original method and formula are documented. That being said you would have the option of doing a two tone below the bodyline.

Hey guys thank you for those shops info.
Yes I get that it won't be perfect but 4 years ago I had a shop that is no longer in business repaint the bumper and matched 99% which is what's in the picture. It can be matched. I paid 500 bucks last time. Nowadays shops want more then 1200! That is pretty high IMO. I am looking for reasonable...that's all...Thank you!
