where are you located? do you know what kind of helicopter or describe it? I work on Selfridge and I have lived by Selfridge 20+ years.

i'm by 24 and gratiot, the same helicopter was hovering around the same area for like an hour and a half last night? I figured maybe it was coast guard looking out by the water or something? Just wondering if anyone else knew if somethign happened last night?
 
Coast Guard helo's are either Orange (HH-65a's) or White (Jayhawks).

Neither is 'big ass' by any strech of the imagination.

A guy here at work that lives up by Grand Blanc did say he saw a Chinook (dual blade) helo on the way to work today, was it that big?
 
It was a CG helo, guy got pulled over and ran on foot.. I watched the whole thing happen from the Taco Bell drive through lol!

thats funny, i was at the same Taco bell, i just found out from the chesterfield police, that i guess the Semi that was pulled over at the speedway had some suspected Illegal aliens in it. I was at the drive thru wondering what happened, i got there after most of the fun though.. :dontknow: But on a better note, i got a new purchase permit for another handgun :icon_mrgr

i don't think it was a Chinook, but i did see one of those flying above M-59 around noon. I'm not sure how big it was, but sounded big, probably because of how low it was, and cause it was basically hovering over my house for awhile.

Yes they are. Try and ride in one looking at the number 7 shaft knowing that is the only thing keeping the blades from hitting each other
