Anyone know the best way to get rid of Cigarette Smoke smell?

Have a car with a slight smoke smell. Must have been smoked in at one time. Anyone know the best way to get rid of the smell? I was going to start with Febreze or Glade.

Ozium spray works for some smokes smells, not sure if all kinds of smoke though.

I had a used car I bought back in college. Previous owner had smoked. Steam cleaned the $H#T out of it. The interior grey actually had a yellow hue as I discovered. Anyway, after that the smell was unnoticeable.

I have seen them use an Ozonator at work too. It creates ozone inside the car to kill any odors, etc. Watch out though as it is a respiratory irritant. You can't be in the car when you use it and you have to open the doors to let it dissipate before you go back in the car.

Bars of Irish Spring under the seats will drown that out pretty well.

Just to follow up if anyone is interested. Now this was a car with some smoke smell. It was not one where someone smoked 2 packs a day in it for 10 years.

I took vinegar and cleaned the interior. Straight vinegar on the seats and headliner and carpet. I filled 4 bowls with vinegar and a slice of bread - one in each foot well. I put them in the car for 2 days and ran the vent on circulation a few times to get the vinegar through the vents. After that the car smelt like it had been dipped in vinegar (kinda gross) but the smoke smell was gone. I then drove the car with the windows down for a week to air it out.

I then used the meguiars whole car air freshener. It has been 3 weeks and the car no longer has a smoke smell. I am happy so far with the results.
