I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know of a shop that's good with carbs in the Knoxville/Nashville area of TN? My buddy's dad lives about an hour west of Knoxville and has an older Ford pickup that is mostly restored with a brand new crate 302 and a new carb. Can't get it to run, and for the short while it did he claims it didn't perform any better than the inline 6 that was originally in it. He is having a hell of a time trying to find anyone willing to work on a carb. The project has been a nightmare and he has been taken advantage of by the past people working on the car, he just wants the damn thing done so he can drive it.
Does anyone happen to know of a place to suggest to him?
