Anyone into Slot Car Racing?

I'm sure there's been posts about this before, but I was wondering if anyone is into slot car racing? One of the managers at work took us out to race some slot cars for a "team building event." We just ran on a daytona track but had a blast. I didn't get to see any drag cars run but they look pretty badass and I'm thinking about getting into it as a winter hobby. Anyone have suggestions about what/where to buy cars/parts?

Oh yeah, people here race them. Always wanted to try it. Pretty sure everyone that races here goes to T.S.S., and buys parts from them.

Trunk said there is a new shop in Livonia some place. My cars just sit and collect dust........ It was cool for a minute, but the money would have been better spent at the strip club.

A guy named Jody did them for me.... I had Millens old car and Elias Delatores "Hurricane" car at one time too....... I sold them before having chassis built for them.

i go with my buddies to a place north or ford on warren. small place good guys. tss gets a bit overwhelming for a noob. but he does have alot of parts and cars.
