Anyone here a salesperson for Cable TV or ATT U-verse? My bill went from $109 to $253. I'm switching

I know we've had a ton of threads about cable/internet service and which is better. I don't remember seeing any salepeople in those threads.
I had WOW for 6 years and they shot the price ip too high so I switched to Comcast 18 months ago. Now Comcast raised the monthly price from $109.69 total with taxes to $253.05 with taxes.
I called Comcast today and all they could do is get me down to about $212 IF I removed HBO or SHOWTIME from my plan.
That is still WAY to high.
So if anyone of you are a salesperson for WOW or ATT U-Verse let me know and lets get a quote going.
Or I guess if you work for Comcast and can work some magic, let me know.

Oh ya, I know I can tell them to cancel and they will work with me a little more but that's not how I do business. I'm not into bluffing.
I told them that I will look else where and if I find a better deal that I will go with it and NOT give them a chance to counter. I told him this was Comcasts only chance to keep me. He basically said his hands were tied and then told me good luck.
Thanks,

What??? How can your bill be that high? I get everything Wow offers and I think it's like $140.

I know, I called and they said the new bill is correct. No discounts can be applied. Cable tv with most channels, HD pack, HBO, SHOTIME, STARZ, One dvr, 2 basic boxes, 20mb internet and phone.

That's a lot of stuff. I got HD DVR, HD pack, HBO, fast enough internet, and phone for $135/mo said and done. Definitely get quotes from WOW and ATT but Comcast will bend over pretty far to keep you since you are quite literally paying them for nothing.

Here's info from the new bill:

you have to tell them you have changed and caceal now and they will lower it. I told them I was thinking of changing. they told me they cant to any thing I switched then told them to coceal and they did everting they could to keep me but I already switch and told them last I wanted a better price and nothing. I ended up going back a year later with a good price and when they do that I now tell them canceal rught now.

LOL,.... I will call retentions tomorrow.

My Comcast bill went up this month too... Used to be around $105/mo... now it's $175/mo. I called bitched and got it down to $130/mo, but I lost History Channel, Military Channel, NatGeo and Encore... sucks. I don't even have the Comcast voice.

$135/mo for HD Cable, HBO, 1 DVR box and internet. Ridiculous. But I'm stuck. Comcast is the only option in Milan :(

Damn - that's a lot of cash for their "digital voice" phone service IMHO. Can you cancel the land line in lieu of using a cell phone or is that not possible ?

I've had Vonage for quite some time now and it is $27/month plus taxes, which works out to $32ish. You could save some money by switching phone service......
