Anyone have a lifter bore grooving tool I can borrow/rent?

Pulled my motor today to find out what went wrong and I lost 4 cam lobes. Looking to do whatever possible to prevent this from happening again while staying within my budget. So was hoping to rent/borrow the tool instead of paying $150 for a tool I will likely use once. Need it for a BBC.
