anyone ever seen this gt40 intake?????????????????

I just bought a gt40 intake I thought was a 93 cobra intake But it will need the egr spacer because it is the same a a stock intake with no egr port and shorter than the cobra intake on that side and it has a casting date of late 1993. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290550904112&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I thought I knew what it was a 93 cobra intake. til i opened the box. Maybe a prototype for the 94-95cobra?

It looks like a Cobra intake. GT40 intakes are the Explorer ones and the Gt40 Tubular are on the 1st gen lightnings

Explorer intakes look a bit different. They have lines along the back of the plenum and the badge screws on like the stock mustang intake

9424 = manifold; fuel injection as far as I can tell

ca = this is the design level, "CA" instead of "AA" indicates some sort of change, probably the EGR bore.

That could be the guy told me he got them when they bought a lot of marine engines, and parts.
