Yep, one time for me too so far. Farmed out some work on the car and
ended up re-doing a good portion of it, that didn't help. Ultimately, just
couldn't make the time commitment this season due to business reasons.
Hopefully next year will be better, but this season really isn't over yet!

Tomorrow will be my second track day of the year. In May, it was raining and 60s all day. The weather report for tomorrow... 58 and rain. :banghead: I hate rain.

I think I've put all of 2,000 miles on my car this year. Took forever to get cylinder heads and pistons for my buildup. All part of the game.

I had a great season. :pow:

After waiting FOREVER for a trans to be put in. It took a shit after about 150 miles and 5-6 passes.

Then I dropped a washer down my intake and took out a piston.

Then the intake gasket was leaking. Just fixed that.

Car ran like shit in Martin<because of the trans>

Got rained out at Columbus

One bright note was I went 10.17 @ Milan. I'm knocking on 9.999999 door. I just have to get back to the track. Maybe that 9.999999 pass will make all the :bs: of the season go away.

Best one ever, more track time this year than all years combined. Maybe having a car that didn't break was part of it

I missed the season :( Might still make it out, car is 99.999999% complete. As much as I love cars and racing, I have too many things going that are more important right now. If I don't get it out before snow, at least it will be ready to go in the spring.

my season started GREAT...then now has pretty much gone away sine July...I made ONE pass in August...other than that it has rained on every day I could race. Oh well...I have an 04 with 7400 miles on it..

I haven't been down the 1/4 in 2 years.. My own fault for sure, just don't wanna break anymore shit even though I know it comes with the territory.

Been alright I guess. Alot of new parts, on and off the car, none really for more HP, mostly for strength, hooking, handling and braking. I did however prove to myself something I never thought was possible, to be consistent with a stick car. Out of the last 25 or so passes, about 22 of them have been within .1 window.

this year was good and bad, bad i didnt get to race my own shit once...good i got to drive alot of cars this year and learned alot of shit so when i do get my shit out it should be fast...

Mine has had its highs and lows, just cant seem to get the demons out of the car. Hopefully next time out it should be all worked out.
