Any specific way to prime an inline fuel pump the first time? Having trouble with intank pickup tube

I just got done installing my glennsperformance intank pickup tube in my fox which is running down to the bottom front of the tank where Ive got an A1000 fuel pump mounted. How do I get this thing primed the first time? According to my pressure gauge its saying 5psi which im guessing is just air pressure maybe? Whats the trick?

Is the pump mount above of below the bottom of the tank in terms of relative hieght from the ground ?

its about level. Maybe an inch or so above. i went out this morning and it had primed itself. works good now

getting the siphon started on the intak pickups like that can be challenging when the pump is above the bottom of the tank. Sounds like it got the air pocket out now though.

for future reference, I like applying a little air pressure to the filler neck to prime the line to the pump, works great
