I have a small pile of rings, necklaces, and earrings that my mom was going to throw away, that should have a little value.

I would prefer not to sell it, rather to find someone that can smelt it, remove all impurities, and make a little solid gold nugget.

Anyone here have any experience doing this?

Midwest refinerys they pay way more than any "we buy gold place" or they can convert it into bars

You would be shocked at what a bunch of old chains and rings would be worth. Got a few hundred for what I thought was mostly worthless stuff last summer.
