Any experience with Prestige Industries in Walled Lake?

Looks like they have 4 divisions - Games We Play, Neons 4U, Prestige Repairs and Prestige Powersports.

Anyway, I'm looking at getting another pinball machine and these guys show a pretty good collection listed online. Wondering if anyone has any experience dealing with either of their divisions? It's about a 2 hour drive one way for me, and want to make sure it's worth it before I pack up my wife and kids to make the trek.

The owner is a nice guy. They do a decent job shopping the pinball machines. I have seen better but it is decent. I wouldn't drive 2 hours for his little shop but I don't know where else you can go. Ebay had some great looking machines cheaper then him last time I looked. I bought a Getaway pinball from him btw. still works great 5 years later.

I'm by no means a "collector" so condition doesn't need to be A+ for me. The problem I have is that I don't have anywhere to go up in my neck of the woods.

Off my current inventory of arcades and pinballs, most have been a 3hr+ round trip drive for me. Driving isn't an issue as long as I know I'm going to a reputable place. I usually deal with a guy in Waterford, but Prestige seems to have a bigger selection for pinball machines.

I would call and ask questions 1st. Collector is no the issue it is fuction. You have little to worry about wearing them out it is more are they going to corrode and break. It is a nice place to go check out a bunch of pinballs and he is priced fair. He had around 25 machines setup when I was there. Maybe I will try to stop in and get some pics for you. It is about 2 miles from my shop.

Hes way overpriced, 99% of his inventory is reimported machines half ass shopped, Once the febreeze wears off the smell of the machines will knock you over what machine are you looking for? I know alot of collectors who will get you a better machine at a much lower price

I forgot who else on here played with these. My machine didn't smell after the febreeze wore off :). Plus it has been fine for going on 6 years now. I agree you can get them cheaper but it is hard to go somewhere and play 15 or 20 machines for free.

in home use a pinball machine should never break, I agree go there and play them decide the machine you want and let me know I can save you some cash, Tell marty I said Hi and if Mikes in the back (repair guy) he likes hugs

I may also take you up on that!! My wife really wanted adams family but I won out and got getaway!!

If you know anyone with a good Terminator 2 pinball let me know. Been wanting one of those forever. I have seen them around $1000-$1500. $2500 is a bit steep.

I tend to prefer 1990 Williams machines - not real particular on model.

I'd like to give a PB2000 machine a try - probably Revenge from Mars. I'd also like to find a Pinbot to marry up with my Bride of Pinbot. My kids have been digging Simpson Pinball Party lately. I also would like a Tommy (Data East). I really enjoy Twilight Zone but that one is out of my price range -- any top 10 machine is right now.

I built a digital pinball machine, so I do have the advantage of playing before I purchase.

The price on machines is all over the map. Some people think they have a gold mine. I constantly see them getting posted for $500 to $1500 higher than what my info (Pinside and IPDB) tell me they're worth.

Ill make some calls , T@ is a fun machine to play I sold quite a few of them over the years

Big Toys on Mound has a bunch of machines too. They are kind of pricey also, but they do have a black knight machine (my other favorite which I already own). T2 is one of the best though.
