Any 6.0 Powerstroke Gurus in the house?

Im looking at an 05 F250 with a 6.0 in it. It has 160K on the odometer. I know these things are prone to headgasket and EGR problems. The particular one im looking at is all stock except for exhaust. Owner told me its had 5 injectors replaced but no other work done to it except for maintenance and regular 3k mile oil changes. It started easy this morning in 30 degree weather on a cold start and didnt seem to run rough or anything and no massive amounts of smoke or anything. The Degas bottle didnt seem to have any signs of being overflowed.

Any other things of concern that should be checked out, or anything to look out for on these engines? I was originally looking for a 7.3 but coming across one that isnt all rotted out has seemed to be a challenge thus far. Any input appreciated

If your looking to buy a 6.0, try and get something already with head studs or the EGR delete. If your looking to do any mods to it then I'd definitely put the EGR delete in too. Also, invest in a good tuner because stock, a 6.0 doesn't do so great and at $4.20+ per gallon you wanna really get your moneys worth.

Also, check out powerstroke.org they have some really good info. And good luck!
