Ants...How do I get rid of them? Who should I call?

Does anybody know somebody good that I can call to get rid of some small black ants in my house? I just thought I would ask before making random calls.

We had a problem with them when we first moved in our house. We called Maplelane pest control. They sprayed and that immediately took care of the problem. But every spring since then we would see a few ants in house. We would have them come out and spray again. A few years ago someone told me to spray Ortho home defense max around the perimeter of the house inside and out. That has worked great at keeping ants and other bugs out. You can buy it at most any hardware stores. We buy the gallon size with it's own sprayer.

Terro at Home Depot. That shit works. Took care of everything when I lived in Miami...and those ants down there are tougher than these Michigan ones!

Ant problems are normally a very limited annoyance.
They usually hit ones home after a heavy rain.

The little ant bait traps work great. In a week or so,
they seem to all disappear – these have worked great
for me.

I've had great luck with either the granule or the powder ant killer. I used to call a exterminator every year before i tried it myself.
