Alright so my mother in laws stang has been not starting and or shutting off randomly, its 94/95 gt.Told her i would check it out , i was thinking it was just the column but after reading about it online i have chalked it up to the anti theft so now i need to figure out how to bypass it or get it fixed cause i am not getting power to nothing now,she did not get a original key or the key pad for locks when she bought the car, i tried taking battery cables off to reset it and got nothing, i tried my ecu off my hatch thinking maybe since it was not programmed for the anti theft but still got nothing, any help would be appreciated , Thanks Rob

Are you thinking anti theft as in pats system or factory alarm?

dont think this earlier of a yr had pats .. so factory alarm.. i just went and looked at it again reset battery , think i actually heard the fp/injectors power up but no crank

The factory alarm is disarmed by grounding the dark green/purple in either door harness. The starter wire is the white/pink and the ignition is a tan/white wire and both should see a + signal when you turn the key. Hope this helps

On my '97 the alarm would go off 30 seconds after locking the doors, so I cut the alarm wire located in the trunk (on the drivers side behind the panel) and grounded it. The alarm has not gone off since. I think it's the dark green/purple wire.
I don't know if that will solve your issue or not.
