AN line size ?

is there conversion table somewhere that explains the - an #'s ?? I bought a fuel cell for my wheeler and i just have rubber fuel line but the tank has -8an fittings..

basically i need to know what fractional size they are compared to..

the an number is in 16ths. a -4 an is 4/16 or 1/4. a -8 an is 8/16 or 1/2. a -16 is 16/16 or 1 inch.

I think a dash16 fuel line for that quad... j/k!!
The stock fuel lines on a 5.0 Fox are either 1/4" (dash 4) or 5/16 (dash 5). -4 should be MORE than enough.
