Always double check your trailer before towing

I used my trailer yesterday to move the CJ around. I didn't get to upload the car until well after dark. Seems I didn't put the pin all the way back in the ramp door. On the way to work this morning it fell out. I just realized it about 45 mins ago when I was disconnecting the trailer, so I retraced my route to work and found it on M-14.

This is the second time the same ramp took exit stage left  The first time the weld broke on the cage that holds it. Luck must be on my side since it was found both times.

Doubt it. The entrance ramp is only about 1/8 th mile back and when I got on this morning I didn't have to merge into traffic.

That sucks, good thing you found it and it didn't cause a pileup or something.

I've had the side door swing open on our enclosed trailer in traffic before because apparently I didn't have the little pull handle latched far enough. All of a sudden I saw it in the side view mirror and it scared the shit out of me. Luckily I was driving in the right lane at the time. Always use the deadbolt on those things.

I remember driving ALL the way from Royal Oak to Canton to find that motherfucker last time.
