Aluminum Wheel Polishing?

Ok, so my polished aluminum wheels have had a rough winter.. Had no choice but to run them, so needless to say they look pretty bad now. I just spent about an hour, and don't even have 1/4 of one wheel done. Anyway, I'm thinking that I'd rather pay some place to do it, if there is any place around that does this kind of thing. Any suggestions? Anyone have this done? Price range I"m looking at? Thanks.

Try a Mothers Power Ball or Power Cone with a variety of products such as Meguiars wheel polish, Never Dull, ect...

But there are some sponsors on MM that do detail work. Contact SS4Matt. He is a detailing sponsor.

no matter how you slice it, it's a long and tedious process to bring "wasted" aluminum wheels back. if they're pretty pitted and gross from the winter elements, I find it's best to just start wet sanding them with some 2000 and then start your polishing. I've even taken an old wool pad and some gritty compound to them after the 2000 and then stepped up to the metal polish. I've found the mothers metal polish works best for me. It can take about an hour per wheel in some cases.
