All canon guys inside! Free macro lens!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure how you can set your aperture without the camera being able to control the lens. For the price, it's decent to toy around with.
 
You can't but I'm assuming it is going to be the lowest aperture the lens can go since there is no other setting? Plus you have to manually focus everything. I bought the adapter but you dont need it, it's just safer.
 
I would not do it. I have heard of those rings shorting out stuff. I used to have a Nikkor lens I used with an adapter ring and I had to send my 30D back to Canon for repair.
