All Kustom Desin Mackenize. Located in Ray twp. Kevin Mckenize does very good high end fab. Cages, axles, full tube chassis, A arms. Just about anthing y would want to do.. First class guy and resonablevable pricesw.

His Camaro and the Mustang projects cars were pretty impressive looking when I visted his shop.

New to Michigan and in the past have been bitten by so called custom shops.
Shoddy work, missed deadlines and way over budget.:pissed:

So to ask, how is AKDM respected in Motown ?

:bowrofl: Ok you guys a great group of folks. A little humor goes a long way !

When I met Kevin he seemed to a hell of a nice guy. The work I saw in his shop was simply fantastic.

Having spent my working years in (big 3) auto fab shops. I could see that Kevin was real pasionate of his work. Well thought out and well done. Attention to detail was simply outstanding.

The unknown is how is he as a business man ?

Other shops (not from around here) have missed dealines, padded bills and frankly released a piss poor finished product. Little things that you dont see right away. But if they would have spent just a couple more minutes it would have been first class.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but this seems like more of an ad for this shop. You came here asking about him, now you are saying he does good work.

Sorry man. No intention of providing free advertising. Just as I said have been bitten by shops that have promised but never delivered.
Combined with the fact that I am new around here. Looking for a good fab shop that does honest work. Not one that will screw me/you over.

Seems AKDM in not well known.
 
Give these guys a call. They have done lots of work for the club and it's members. Top notch to say the least!
