95 mustang gt ..... from what ive read its called either an AIR CHARGE TEMP SENSOR or a INTAKE AIR TEMP SENSOR , causes the car to run like crap when the car is cold , ware is is located and is there anything else its called ? no one knows what the hell im talking about any ware else lol

just found it on o reillys web site , like 15 bucks ,., i guess my only question now is ware is it located on the car ? and o reillys has 2 diffrent kinds one is metal and one is plastic , wich one you guys perfer ?

There usually after the air filter before the throttle body on the intake tube try cleaning it first but the thing with those is like my brothers old escort it was telling the computer that it was 30 below zero and it caused it to dump fuel into the car because that air is more dense requires more fuel so the car would run super rich over heat and only get 16 mpg

If the metel is the borge warner it's a much better product I worked at orielly for over a year the masterpro products are ok but still garbage

i know the sensor your talking about , i was told its someware on the lower intake ? between #5 and #6 injectors or something , maybe its a diffrent sensor with a similar name ?

the IAT on a 95 is located where the previous person said and is plastic, the 03-04 4v cars were located in the lower intake and metal

fox body lowers had the IAT in them , thats probabl ware i messed up reading , oh well ,., anyways heres my issue now , on a cold start the car runs like shit , it idles fine but once you drive it it runs like shit if you give it about 25% throttle or more it boggs and pops , almost like to much fuel or to much timing , IAT sound like the problem ? .... once it warms up its fine thow

unplugged the sensor and the CEL light came on but the car ran 1million times better , bought the new sensor and now she runs great again

well now im back to square 1 again , put the new sensor in and it ran great for about 1 mile , now its a dog at take off again ( even in the rain it wont break the tires loose at take off ) , unplug the sensor thow and it runs like a beast , did i get a bad sensor ? did it go bad already ? should i just leave it unplugged or will that give me a lean or rich condition ? .,. i do know o reillys was originally going to give me a metal IAT sensor but i told them that thats not the right one and they gave me the plastic one ( i figured the metal one was the one for the older 302s with the IAT sensor in the lower intake ) mines the one in the intake tube

i just took out the harness ( the little one that conects to the maf and IAC ) and cleaned the pins and used some conector greese and it didnt change anything , unplugged the sensor and it runs like a raped ape , no check engine light on untill i unplug the sensor ,., how do i go about an eec test ?

no one ? , basicly ware im at is the car runs amazing with the CEL light on but runs like shit with the CEL light off
