What an idiot. That could have got not awesome in a hurry. I hope those guys called the cops before they started the amateur videography.
 
Maybe they didn't realize that it could have been a medical problem.. That is not the first thing I think about when people do dumb shit on the road... And yes I have seen someone DRIVING on the median of the freeway.
 
SO she was in a diabetic coma.....but don't diabetics carry an emergency supply of sugar with them? I work with a diabetic, and he carries candy bars for just such times. He says the symptoms come on slowly and are preventable if he eats something. How did this lady let it get so badly, so quickly? And endangering other motorists in that condition is not cool.
 
A few years ago I saw a guy who worked for a local TV station. He would travel from one car dealership to another and edit them together for a 30 minute long commercial. When we saw him he was going the wrong way on I-75, but on the shoulder. We thought what he was doing was a bad idea, but maybe he was getting video of cars passing him for his show. Within moments of passing us he veered head on into oncoming traffic, killing himself and one or two others. The lady in this video was the same way, alert enough to drive but not alert enough to realize they were actually driving. Scary stuff for sure.

not always. usually mine are slow. but i have had an ambulance called on me twice in 23 years

Yeah sometimes it's not that slow... My dad had this happen to him very suddenly and he got in an accident (not with anyone else). He could see one second and BAM, no vision the next. He ended up in a ditch
