So i keep seeing this bike 2007 cbr600rr across the street been sitting for about 8 months now got hit by a truck backing up.. no plate on it.. i have the VIN number it has a "Final Notice" from the county sticker that there going to tow it on april 21st and i was wondering how i could get the bike.. was thinking about asking Military police if they could give me the guys name from the base registration and maybe i could just buy it.. the guy obliviously doesnt want it.. cops ran the VIN and the bike isnt stolen... anybody got a opinion how i could go about getting it? or am i just SOL and its the citys property?
