Adding a surveillance system to comcrap

I purchased a surveillance system and want to add it tot my internet so I can remotely view it. How can this be done? I called them and told them I need a static IP address and they said it would increase my bill 30-40 a month. I'm not paying them for that. How can this be accomplished?

Your dvr from the camera system should plug into the Comcast router... shouldn't cost anything
