This is an actual film made of the surrender ceremony of the Japanese to MacArthur in Tokyo Bay in September 1945. Actual voice of the General.

Never been shown to the general public before. We always saw the "stills" but never the film itself. If you are a history buff, you WILL enjoy it.

Historical Footage: Japanese Surrender Signing Aboard Battleship Missouri Sunday Sept. 2, 1945. An important piece of history. Most people have seen still photos of the event but haven't seen the newsreel

This is pretty cool! Definitely worth Watching!

I'll have to watch it. My grandfather was a marine in the pacific and actually on the Missouri during the signing.

my grandpa was on a transport ship going to the philippines when they surrendered. probably saved his life!
