Thats funny, i just drove by there about an hour ago and saw the 100+ signs at the intetrsection right there....i was going to ask you about it...guess you beat me to it. DEVOS FTW!
 
I seem to notice alot more Devos signs than anything else this election. Normally you get a pretty good mix of both parties. But seems like everywhere Ive been lately its been all devos, even in neighbors that are heavily populated by union people that I know of.
 
theres actually about 4 or 5 times more of those signs, he just got the ones directaly across the street from the dealer....at the acutal jackson.wagner cross road theres so many its fuggin rediculous, I woulda like to seen the fruit cake puttin all them up...

No matter who you vote for, it's pretty sickening to look at those numbers and realize that the candidates combined to spend ~$30million on commercials, signs, mailers, and other BS. Especially in a state where the economy sux so bad.

I saw an awful lot of DeVos signs once you get 20 minutes outside of Detroit. Out in the boonies on a fall color cruise I saw nothing but DeVos.

Yeah, but just from watching TV and listening to the radio over the past month or two, it's obvious that DeVos was vastly outspending Grandholm. I saw/heard FAR more of his ads than hers. :dontknow:

But like I said. It's ridiculous to see how much money is wasted on campaigning these days. :no:

Well, the problem isn't with people like many of us, who actually look at the candidates and put thought into our choice. It's the idiots out there who can be influenced to vote for someone because they've seen their name on a sign several hundred times.

Easy to buy campaign signs and television time when you have unlimited money and are determined to buy an election.

Imagine how much he could have helped had he invested that same $50,000,000 in urban development.

Please. Don't even try and pretend like Democratic benefactors like Stryker didn't blow millions on attack ads. Each side is just as guilty on that front.
