1985 Dodge Omni GLH Turbo
94k original miles. Factory gold with a beige interior in great shape! If you are looking for clean, totally bone stock unmodified GLH in a rare color combo, this might be what you are looking for. It’s like a time warp to 1985!
I’m very familiar with these cars and I know the problems that come with modified TD’s, so I searched for the better part of a year to find one that wasn’t beat on or modified at all, to make my fair weather daily driver. I found this car in CO and it is absolutely RUST FREE. The floors, doors, hatch, roof, etc. are all in excellent shape. The car was repainted in the original factory gold at some point and the paint still shines. The engine is an unmodified 2.2 Turbo-1 with the stock a-525 5 speed trans. I’ve spent a lot of money making this a reliable driver. The front brakes, wheel hubs, axels, steering rack, front motor mount, shift linkage, windshield, rear hatch struts, plugs, & plug wires have all been replaced within the last 2000 miles. The car runs, drives, shifts, and stops well. Now that the weather is finally getting nice again, I use it to commute to work which is a daily 50 mile round trip with no problems at all. Right now it’s wearing VW 15” black steelies on BFG Comp T/A tires, (I like the sleeper look better than the factory wheels.) While it’s not a show car, it’s a very nice, very clean, reliable, little car that gets lots of looks, lots of thumbs up, and gets 25-30 mpg! It’s always been garaged, gets premium fuel, and I don’t beat on it.
Extra stuff that comes with the car:
-Tan Horizon front seats. Came with the car when i bought it. They are in very nice shape.
-Original “pizza wheels” on old tires. Wheels are good, but the tires are dry rotted and should be tossed.
-(Also i have Back painted original wheels as well on nice 195/50/15s that you can have if you don't want the steelies)
-Original hood for the car with turbo vent (has typical clear cote issues, which is why the other one is on the car)
-Various interior odds and ends. None of it is needed right now, but any time I saw beige Omni parts, I swiped them up just to have spares.

If you want to know more about my GLH, drop me an email and I’d be happy to answer any of your questions.
