99 tahoe blower motor/ no high

Ok, my fan works on everything but high. I replaced the resistor thing thats on top of the heater core box, and that didnt work, and just replaced the switch on the dash also and that didnt work either. Any ideas on what else it could be? Thanks, Bill

Doubt it.. Sounds like the blower motor resistor.You sure you changed the right resistor? Did you check the high relay?

I changed the resistor on top of the heater box, its a little plate with a few spring looking thingss on it with a resistor in the middle. I did not check any relays, only checked the fuses on the side of the dash, ill check the relays now.

I just used a jumper wire in place of the relay and it worked, with the switch on high, and it blew on high. Very nice, that should fix it for now, thanks.
