$5000 !!!!!!!

1999 Chevrolet S-10 ZR2, you guys know the specifics as far as motor and trans go..

- 4WD works GREAT
- New left front axle seal & axle (replaced axle because I was pulling axle to do the seal, why the heck not?)
- New Tires
- Sliding rear window
- Power windows/locks
- Rockford Fosgate amp for door speakers (Polk door speakers IIRC)
- Mobil 1 full synthetic since it was brand new, have receipts to prove it.
- Replaced the 3rd door handle w/ billet piece (plastic one broke so I got this to replace it) -- will never break again!
- Bug deflector on hood (was on it when I bought it, I will say - I don't get nearly as many bugs on my windshield. In fact, I cannot think of the last time I did on the truck!
- Volant Cold Air Intake (Probably still have the stock airbox I would include)
- Black Ext. Color
- Newer fuel filter
- AWESOME bed liner

Now, for the bad parts:

- 144,000 Miles --- All highway. Previous owner worked for department of transportation and drove around inspecting roads that needed repaired. LOTS of highway miles.

- ABS -> I turned it off because the right front sensor needs cleaned up, and it has been too fucking cold and I haven't had the time to do it. I prefer driving w/o ABS anyways, it brings a false sense of confidence to people if you ask me --- I can pop it back in though.

Price? $5000obo... Let me know! I'm a former mechanic still certified by the state. I know all the mechanics that ever worked on this car as it was locally owned its entire life. Also forgot, and added it to the list above, the fuel filter was replaced ~1.5 years ago... I've run fuel injector cleaner through it and it seemed to clean it out real good and it runs like a champ. I would not be scared to drive across the state in this truck at all! The brakes are in real good shape too...

I'm selling it because I don't need or want a 4WD off-road truck anymore. I have never taken the truck off-road (Unless you consider driving up in to my lawn to put some small limbs off a tree in the back off-roading) ... I'm in need of a full size to pull my Mustang around.

Ask James, Dave, or Keith about my cars. They have known me the longest and they can attest to the fact that I am really quite anal about keeping my cars in great condition..

I keep forgetting crap I've done to it..

In the past year:

New Ball joints
New plugs
New Wires
New Cap
New Rotor

Fuel filter was replaced about 1.5 years ago... Tires are new. Brakes are good. Everything works flawlessly - including the air conditioning!

$5000 and not a penny less... It books at $6000 private party! Come on, I have GOT to sell this thing!

I am so serious about selling it - if you find someone who buys it.. I'll send you $50!

A friend of mine has the exact same truck at work. It has just over 200,000 miles on it and it still looks and runs like it is brand new!!!! It too has all highway miles. These are good trucks.

yeah these are great trucks... I have a 4x4 Blazer with a 149k on it and runs like a champ... I put almost 200 miles on every week

so bump from a fellow s-series owner

I have one question for you... how did you turn off your abs? Thats my only problem with my truck is I hate abs and would love to just turn it off

I pulled my ABS fuse on my Sonoma. Without the fuse the ABS light can't come on either :icon_bigg
