The truck is in great condition, there are a few minor dings on the truck but no rust or rot. The only thing that is seriously wrong with the truck is that it has the "weight reduction dash" . I bought the truck with 127,000miles on it from Missouri with a cracked 53 block in it. Since then it has been on the road for roughly 6,000 miles with a fresh motor and new block of course. At the same time the motor was out being built, the transmission was also refreshed. It was originally built by Goerend. The only difference now is that it has a DTT master kit instead of the red clutches. Here is the mod list:
Motor Rebuild
Used all genuine Cummins parts, used a non-53 block on the rebuild, deck surfaced .010 and head had cleanup surface. Stock pistons, crank and rods all reused. Head was rebuilt with new valve seals.
Only mods since rebuild include:
ARP 425 headstuds
MBRP 4in straight exhaust
Transmission
Goerend billet triple disk converter
Sonnax Billet input shaft
Billet Front drum with extra clutches/steels
Suncoast Flexplate
Mag Hytec Double Deep Pan
Sonnax servo kit
DTT master rebuild kit
Goerend valvebody
DTT voltage regulator
DTT noise filter
This transmission has roughly 4-5k miles on it. Shifts great, crisp at normal driving, and hits relatively hard at WOT. Great for a daily driver and performance alike.
Suspension:
3'' leveling kit with short arms
Bilstein Shocks
Brand new brakes all the way around
3rd gen wheels with Hancook Dynapro ATM's 14/32nds all around
REBUILT rear end (Dana 70)
The truck also has
Isspro gauges: Boost, EGT and Trans Temp
Alpine head unit, Infinity components, 2 amps.
2 JL w3 10'' subs with JL amp (3 amps total) one not being used
Brand new Reese Hitch
I am selling this truck to get a Dually. This truck runs great, gets 18.1 mpg hand calculated (city and highway) and pretty much the whole drivetrain is brand new.
Would consider some trades. Prefer a Dodge dually, or a ford dually and cash (so I can cummins swap it)
