Ok bought the car thinking it needing a timing chain. I then replaced the chain since the old chain had a ton of play in it. After replacing the chain the car started perfectly. I shut the car off to add coolant and then it would not start.
I then replaced the crank position sensor thinking maybe I didn't have spark and the plugs were wet and smelt of fuel. Car still will not start and I am getting a good amount of blueish smoke out of what i believe is the crankcase vent tube. Its a 1" tube connecting to the air intake. No smoke out of the exhaust though.
I performed a compression test and readings are as follows 1-100psi 2-100psi 3-105psi 4-100psi.
I tried the old school put a little trans fluid in the cylinders to see if the rings were bad and still no start. It seams like it wants to start for the first 3-4 seconds of turning over then sounds like it gives up and just turns over.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jeremy
