97 Lincoln Continental ABS issues

i have a 97 Lincoln continental and just recently sometimes when i goto stop at a normal pace, the abs kicks on for a second like i slammed on them. any ideas? could is just be a dirty sensor or something

You could take a look at the toner rings. But it sound like you have a sender going out.

With a voltmeter Check volts between the two wires when you have the car jacked up and spin the wheel they should all read the same volts
