Hey all new member here. My name is Mike from waterford. Actually referred over from svtperformance hoping maybe i could get some ideas or help with my issues im having.
I have a 96 mustang gt(auto) that i recently did an 04 swap along with a t45 swap on(also swapped with a manual ecu and used a manual trans harness). Everything is in the car bolted down and kinda running.
My issues are that with the car sitting it doesnt really want to start and when it does it mainly is in gear. Each time i crank the car over it gets better and better till it fires. After that letting it sit once it does start running for 5-10min it fires right up otherwise. If let the car sit for 40min and it is back to getting hard to start.
Also the car seems to hesitate when you press the gas. Like ill hit the gas and you can almost hear it bog alittle then it responds.
Ive replaced the iac, crankshaft sensor, new plug wires, new plugs are on the way, double checked vac lines and plug routing and electric connections but slowly running out of ideas.
Ive gone through alot doing this swap to get it running but now its been nothing but issues and starting to lose interest, Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the original post over at svt http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/sn95-cobras-24/916183-motor-swap-aftermath-need-some-input.html
