i know there are a million combo for H.C.I -- but really what are some of the better combos ? im looking to get some new heads and a cam - i have a cobra intake port and polished upper and lower

Best bang for your buck would probably be a trick flow setup TW heads and matched cam. AFR heads are probably the best though

i was looking at the afr's --- i was also looking at the trick flow whole top end kit

Best bang for your buck combo:
Get rid of the cobra intake... They flow nothing.

Get yourself a trick flow intake, twisted wedge heads and a B cam and a 150 shot single fogger nozzle setup and run 10 alllllll day!

If you really dont want to spend any money and go fast, go carb'd!!!

the cobra flows amazing compared to the 95 intake -- the 95 intake came off a lincoln town car because the normal fox body intake wouldnt fit under the hood

I had one and it was a MAJOR set back... Guess it all depends on fast you want to go?

That is the first question that will need to be answered?
What E.T. do you have in mind? Not HP, ET!

Wow. Sell the car and buy a 87-93 coupe. Spray it and go bottom 11's high 10's

thats the thing -- i already had a 86 - and i liked it an all --- but i LOVE my sn95 -- off the track - my car seems alot quicker - i cant do shit from a dead - from a roll my car rips pretty good.

dont know the weight of your car but I have an 86 vert and a couple years ago my combo was 306cu, GT40P heads, B303 cam, weiend stealth intake, shorty headers with 2.5 exaust X-pipe through flowmasters and a holley 750 running a 3.55 gear and a 5-speed and ran 13.20s consistantly. Real affordable and would get you where you want to be.

With this same setup almost I went 12.30's N/a and 11.00's on 150 shot....

I had 3.73's and a C4... 5 spd would've made faster N/A times.
