I purchased a new battery a while back, but i cant figure out whats pulling it down when it sits for a couple of days. I even took out all of the interior bulbs, while trying to track the problem. I have one MTX amp powering my subs. I was thinking about just doing a battery disconnect switch.

Any advice would be helpful.

could be a bad head unit sending a constant remote signal to the amp, or a bad amp. I would say check the wires going into the amp make sure u dont have any fray wire from the power crossing over to the remote, I've seen that alot. after you have checked all that pull the amp and radio fuse and let it set if it doesnt go dead u just narrowed down the problem.

Shoot, we had a probe that would do that every 1-2 days.
Got a new battery and it never happened again.

you could have a bad new batt.... but id hook an ammeter between the battery cable and battery and check the amperage with nothing on/running. then start pulling fuses to see a big drop in current. once you see that youll know what circuit its on and start troubleshooting from there.
