Either one could be a 1995 as well I really don't know off hand.
Both vehicles are spares and can go. I need room in my driveway/road space something awful.
The Bronco.
Auto, 175K, 5.0
It a unique blue/green color and isn't in all that bad a shape considering its been around the family for a while and driven every winter. It has some rust showing thru the paint, the fenders were fixed up and flares added about 6 years ago when my dad had it. runs faithfull, auto trans, cold A/C great heat, dual exhaust with lifetime warranty (no cats) suspension has been gone thru and everything has been replaced including mounts. New brakes all the way around.
It does leak oil from the rear main. about a quart a month or so if driven daily, has for about 8 years since the motor went in at 91K. 4x4 is tip top. auto hubs were replaced with Warn hubs years ago. Has a good set of goodyears on it now. it rides a bit rough but I have the tires at 40 psi.
For the bad...
my fucking dog had issues as a puppy and chewed thru the seatbelt. it's tied in a knot and i'm sure its a ticket if its spotted but it's also a cheap fix. the rears are chewed thru as well.
next: something happened to the antenna cable years back and it's now routed to the cab with an antenna on the cab floor.
It has other minor issues but nothing that makes it not road worthy. My Girl drove it daily for the past two years right up till about a month ago when I bought a 07 mustang from someone here for her.
This would last someone a long time if they took care of it. My dad is going to be pissed if i sell it, but that's how it goes.
Pics if theres interest.
$2500
The Dakota I bought off CL about a year and half or so ago. ext cab 318 5 speed, 210K but you'ld never know.
The guy I bought if off of owned it since new and really took care of it minus some paint issues. Runs like a scalded dog. I've had to get shitty in it a couple times and it will bang 4th and get a chirp no problem.
Its a straight winter truck for me. tires are shot but roll just fine, they made it thru the winter but are pretty low on tread.
Its been problem free for me and I'd really hate to see it go but I know someone needs it more then I do.
power windows, power locks, manual 4x4 in great shape.
Gas cap door is missing, it's an uglyish green color and it has no cat and rumbles a bit, but the exhaust is solidly installed. one wheel peal like a motherfucker.
All the A/c was converted recently but rever filled. It will/should work with a 134a fill up.
Motor is super healthy, trans is very solid as is the clutch.
I was shuffling cars around yesterday and heard what sounded like a U-joint sticking so It'll either be making noise or be fixed...just being up front.
$2000
I'd hop in either one and drive to Flordia tomorrow...... the gas in the bronco would kill me but you get the idea. In closing. both are good to go but neither are jems. They are 15 year old 4x4s that have been driven damn near 400k combined. If anything either one will make a great winter ride that will last. I'll get pics posted sometime tomorrow after I wake up.
