I know this is a bit of a loaded question...but I'm curious to see what folks are paying for something like this lately ('93 coupe, four cylinder). I've had mulitple fox bodies, so this isn't a test of my ability to complete a project...but what the starting point may be worth.
Anyway, I have an opportunity to take a look at it this weekend. It would be a starting point for another project car (Coyote swap, six-speed, decent brakes, new paint, street/light strip car, stock interior). I know I'm primarily buying it for the sheetmetal and interior as pretty much everything else will be replaced.
Here's what I've been told by a guy who recently saw it in person:
- 1993 4 cylinder coupe, some version of red in color
- auto trans
- supposedly 90+% of the grey interior is there and in decent shape
- supposedly no rust, defnitely needs paint...no accidents, very straight
- vehicle runs and drives
The rumor is that that guy may be willing to sell it for under a grand. Assuming what I've been told so far is true...I suspect it's worth every penny at that price. If that's not the price, is it worth $1500? $2500? Any thoughts? Just curious.
