92 stang notchback fs $3500 obo

Whoa!!

I just went and looked at the car today with a buddy of mine and the car is going to definitly need work. The trunk latch is broken, and the holes that hold the trunk latch in are hogged out. All the moldings all the way around are painted white as well as the door moldings have overspray on them. The back left tail light also has a little overspray on it. There is a crack in the passenger side of the windshield. The interior seats are different colors than each other. The interior panels are extremely dirty as well as the kick panels are missing. I believe he did say he had them still though. The passenger side skirt/valance is either warped or not on correctly. Other than that the car is in decent condition. Its definitly not worth the 3500 to 3000 asking price considering the work that will have to be done to bring it back to stock like condition. Just a heads up for anyone thinking about making the trip to look at the car. :dontknow:

Sounds like all easy to fix problems if the car is solid and straight. Interior sounds like the biggest issue and parts for that are easy to come by these days.
 
My buddy went out there today after they both agreed on the price of 2500... When my friend got to his house he said he couldnt go lower then 3k. talk about a waste of time and gas....
 
actually he said 2600 and I came back with cash and he changed his mind said he wouldnt go any lower than 3k. I dont know why I would bring 3 thousand if he said 2600? No harm no foul just wasted some serious gas for nothing wish he would have told me he changed his mind before I went out there.
 
hey lets hold on here..first of all is someone bitching because there is a little dirt on the car?sorry it happens to be 5 degrees outside and im not gonna go out and wash it,two the trunk latch is not busted i myself unscrewed it because i was gonna take it off,the passenger panel is missing one measly screw so its hanging down,yes the i have the kick panels that i showed you laying in the garage,sounds like someone doesnt want to get their hands drity on a car they are buying that obviously needs some work, and as for a price we never agreed on anything and you decided to come out and offer me 1000 less than my asking price,next time you might want to do that over the phone because its not my fault you live far away and i did not tell you to come and see the car that was your choice, u only want to spend 2000 then go buy the escort that is in the classifieds, dont waste my time.
 
ok first things first, just to clear the air. I never said anything foul about you or your car so your senseless complaining is not needed. second. I offered you what I would pay for a car in that condition, I would gladly give you $3000 dollars for a car that was worth it. I told you I would not give you 3000 for the car. Did you or did you not say 2600? for the future, I know you are young and have a lot of ego so I'll put it like this.... I have moved on from this car and never said anything to A. make you look bad or B. anything to make your car look "unsaleable." So in closing I wish nothing but the best for you and the sale of your car, please do not try to play capt. hardass with me because you will leave that battle empty and broken.
 
ok well i believe i said 2600 and u turned it down,then you called me two days later and said you are coming to look at it with a friend so i said fine,we never mentioned anything about a price or anything like that, and at that point i had already decided i cant go that low,i was sorry you guys had to come out for nothing and you knew it because i even offered for you to take the car out for a drive, and as for playing "capt. hardass", i can do that all day.For the guy who did write all that shit about the car, i hope you do feel good about being a fag.

Okay Sorry if I upset you by what I had posted, I wasnt posting about the car to end up in a pissing match with you nor will I let it get to that point. I was just stating the obvious about the car that can not be seen by the pictures you posted. Considering the drive out to your place from the westside is a good distance it is only fair to give the full details on the condition of the car since I did see the car first hand. It was never a case of "not wanting to get dirty", it was a case of not disclosing the details of the vehicle. In no way was I trying to tell someone not to buy the car. It just wasnt fair to me to show pictures of the car that are misleading of the true condition that it is in, as well as not post what condition the car was in. If you took the time to fix the minor details of the car and make it more presentable Im quite sure you would be able to get your original asking price and probably more. If I offended you in anyway by telling the truth I apologize as I said before. By no means was I trying to cause an argument in your post. So with that I will say Good luck to you selling it on Ebay as you stated, as well as for anyone buying the car.
