92 Mustang 'vert & 03 G35

Love the vert, what kind of spark plug wires do you have on it?

They're called Full Metal Jackets by Taylor. They're 9mm and are wrapped in stainless braided line. You've got to ground them to prevent arcing, but that's simple plus it's easy enough to hide.

very sharp vert, i usually don't like the way fox's look with the convertible top but that one looks badass! you could eat off that engine bay lol

Welcome. INCREDIBLE vert!!!! One quick question, what happened to the driver's side hood alignment and headlight?

That mustang is sweet. Is the G35 stock?

Nick

Thanks. Yes the G is stock except the swap to the 18" rims. If I don't leave it the way it is, it'll end up like the Mustang and I haven't got the mind to do all that again right now :)

VERY NICE Mustang!!! I like it!

Very subtle touch making it look like a 5spd.

I think I recall seeing a few of your posts on Corral?

Anyway, welcome to the club and looking forward to seeing you out in the spring/ summer.

Thanks! Yes I'm on Corral a lot, mostly in the lounge nowadays though.

I love the look of the boot but I'm not trying to pretend it's a 5-speed. I've retro-fit a 4R70W AODE into it, with a full manual valve body and custom stall converter. The whole thing was built up heavy with treated internals and bands from a core after years of indecision about whether to put in a stout AOD or a T-56. I could never decide which way I wanted to go, then I got the idea to try to mix it up a bit. A friend of mine had a 96 Cobra w/a Vortech with a similar AODE setup, he let me take it out for a spin and I loved it. So with that I got hold of a shop that specialized in AOD/AODEs, we talked over what I wanted and he built it to my current specs. I've been extremely happy with it; it pulls like a mother, and can go from feeling like it has a stock AOD to chirping 4th and all that fun stuff. Very docile, though I do baby it by gearhead standards.

Welcome. Nice cars. There are quite a few of us here in the Canton area. Maybe I'll see you around this summer!
